Daniel (second from the left) and myself (Blake, far left) jammed at my teaching studio for the first time in 2019. We played various covers. The office’s walls had never felt such levels of talent bouncing around it. Daniel, the seasoned musician of the duo, said simply “We should start a band.”

Such a thought hadn’t occurred to me in years. I took up classical guitar in school then odd jobbed through the rest of young adulthood. I became a professional guitar teacher and loved it, for years.

I said, “OK!“

We wrote and jammed together for about a year and realized we needed more musicians to make this vision happen. As a matter of fact, they needed to be very skilled musicians. So, we tried out some new talents and came up empty… Check mate. Until…

Adam Walker (far right) arrived on bass like a glimmering meadow egret. This guy can transform into Jaco as he pleases and decided we were alright! Salvation. We recorded our first single early 2021, “True Bird Personality.” It sounds great! We grow closer to our goals.

There is a man named Troy (second from right). We knew of his brood. He had been on our list of second guitar players for quite some time and evaded our appraisals like Balje the Swedish solo artist. Upon hearing “True Bird Personality” a mind was changed. He decided to join our band of merrymakers mid 2021. Troy is an accomplished guitarist that can simultaneously play any instrument we could ever need. Peel is complete and currently playing live in the Houston area!
